Sunderland star Jermain Defoe surprises team-mate with birthday cake at signing session

Papy Djilobodji got a special birthday surprise as he turned 28.

The Senegal defender was at a club signing session with team-mate Jermain Defoe when the former Tottenham Hotspur man brought out a football cake for him.

Supporters gave Djilobodji a round of applause.

Fans turned out in force to meet the pair at the club's Stadium of Light store for the event.
