Sally cares for children who have delayed development or conditions like cerebral palsy and has been at the Children’s Centre for about 20 years.

She said: “It’s amazing. I am surprised to be nominated and it is so nice that someone has done it.

“I love my job and care for children who are aged five and under, but I mainly look after children under the age of three and monitor their development.

“I have close relationships with the parents.”

Nominations for Sally praised the way she connects with patients on a different level by providing practical advice and emotional support.
