Having spent five years in the international wilderness, the powerhouse striker is reported to be set for a recall to the Nigeria squad.

Super Eagles technical director, Gernot Rohr, may have his side at the top of their African World Cup qualifying group but he is compiling a list of new players to add ahead of two friendlies next month. Anichebe, surprise, surprise is on it.
