Sunderland Ladies' fixtures revealed as club adjust to life in third tier
The Ladies side will play in the FA Women’s National League – Northern Premier Division after it was confirmed they had failed in their appeal to the Football Association.
With the backing of Stewart Donald, Sunderland Ladies had launched an appeal after they were unsuccessful in their bid for a place in the FA Women’s Championship.

Hide AdBut it was confirmed this week their appeal was unsuccessful, the former Women’s Super League side effectively suffering a two-tier relegation.
Sunderland will kick off the new campaign on August, Sunday 19 at home to Fylde Ladies. Their first away game is at Bradford City the following weekend.
Last season Sunderland Ladies played their home games at South Shields’ Mariners Park after relocating from their base at Eppleton CW ground, in Hetton.
There has been no official announcement yet regarding where Sunderland Ladies will play their home games this season. The club has produced several members of the current England squad including Jill Scott, Beth Mead, skipper Steph Houghton, Lucy Bronze and Jordan Nobbs.
