AFTER little more than 24 hours in the Celebrity Big Brother house, Mackem madgirl Charlotte-Letitia Crosby is the hot ticket to walk away with the title.
On Thursday the Geordie Shore star, of Biddick Woods, walked into the Channel 5 house along with adopted Wearsider Bruce Jones, best known for his role as Les Battersby on Coronation Street.
Charlotte-Letitia, 22, who shot to fame after first appearing on the MTV programme in 2011, partly thanks to her on-off relationship with cast mate Gary “Gaz” Beadle, is already the bookies favourite to win, with Coral bookmakers giving her odds of 2-1.
Famously named as Cheryl Cole’s favourite Geordie Shore character, Charlotte-Letitia who says she loves being the centre of attention, describes herself as fun, loveable, ditzy and laid back.
Viewers can expect some bad behaviour from the former St Anthony’s Girls Catholic Academy pupil though, as she has been seen urinating on TV in the past, as well as fighting.
In March last year Charlotte-Letitia was banned from driving for 18months, and given a £250 fine after being caught drink driving twice.
Fast forward to April this year she was kicked out of the Geordie Shore house after a fight with Gaz, and, in scenes thought to be too violent to show on MTV, she pulled a bed apart with her bare hands, breaking her foot in the process.
Charlotte-Letitia, a former Ttonic barmaid, was joined by Bruce Jones who entered the house with ex Corrie mate Vicki Entwistle, who left the ITV soap in 2010.
Bruce, 60, opened the Flossy Shop in Park Lane Market last year, and moved to Wearside in 2010 to open bar Agadoo with Black Lace frontman Dene Michael.
Earlier this year the actor revealed that he was working as a mechanic in North Wales for £120 a week.
The Sunderland celebs were joined in the BB house by a pick ‘n’ mix of other personalities including model Sophie Anderton, football player turned manager “Big Ron” Ron Atkinson, reality TV star Mario Falcone, of The Only Way is Essex, US actor Dustin Diamond, most famed for 90’s TV programme Saved By The Bell, exuberant choreographer Louie Spence and transsexual Lauren Harries.
Other names who will spend two weeks on the programme are celebrity botox doctor and star of Irish reality show Dublin Wives Danielle Marr, American TV personality and beauty queen Courtney Stodden, Carole McGiffin of ITV’s Loose Women, and last but not least Abz Love, real name Richard Breen, former member of 90s boyband 5ive.
l Big Brother will air at 10pm tonight on Channel 5.
