Sunderland fans have their say after Yann M'Vila's change of heart
Sunderland fans have been quick to have their say after Yann M'Vila had a change of heart over rejoining the club in January.
The 26-year-old had been set to re-join Sunderland on a permanent three-and-a-half-year contract when his Rubin Kazan deal expires next month.
But M'Vila's representatives have told the club he no longer wishes to return to Wearside.
David Pout @pouty73 tweeted: "@yannmvilafr good luck Yann. Thanks for last season."
Peter Carr @Carzie143 said: "@yannmvilafr best of luck. Sure there are reasons why you don't want to come. Always say though go and speak to Darren Bent."
SJT @tenchylad: "Saves messing about and the club can do business elsewhere. Shame but if the player didn't want to wear the shirt we move on."
Mark @stannerssafc added: "Did ok for us but nowt special, wouldn't lose any sleep over it....."
Brett @safc_1982 tweeted: "So frustrating cannot seem to get things right."
Neil Philip Thornton @NeilPhilipThor1 added: "No one person is bigger than the club."
David Cameron @SgtChop18 said: "We had our chance, just hope it doesn't come to bite us in that behind."
Some fans weren't convinced they would ever see M'Vila in a Sunderland shirt again anyway.
Ian Oliver @zached99 tweeted: "Never thought he would sign."
On our SAFC Facebook page, fans were also quick to have their say.
Russell Pulford wrote: "We have moved on that's life........"
Hiro Protagonist added: "He was on 100k/week last season. Rubin Kazan offering a new contract, likely with a raise.
"Sunderland isn't going to foot that bill anyways, even on a free transfer. Move on."
