Sunderland edged out 1-0 at Manchester Utd

Sunderland Under-21s suffered a 1-0 defeat away to Manchester United tonight.

United skipper James Weir grabbed the only goal on 69 minutes, finally finding a way past keeper Max Stryjek.

The Polish keeper was in good form, making some good saves as United were on top for long periods.

Sunderland’s best chance fell to Mikael Mandron but his effort was blocked on the line.
