Sunderland Civic Centre evacuation 'just a drill'
An evacuation at Sunderland Civic Centre has been put down to a security drill
Staff, councillors and members of the public were cleared from the building shortly before 3pm today.
The evacuation sparked concern as Britain remains on "critical" alert following the bombing in Manchester on Monday.
However, staff on site told our team on the scene that the incident was just a drill.
