Sunderland AFC star given driving ban for speeding
Sunderland defender Patrick Van Aanholt has been banned from driving.
The Black Cats ace was clocked speeding in Gateshead on February 2.
The Dutch international, of Darras Road, Ponteland, did not appear at Gateshead Magistrates' Court and was dealt with in his absence.
He was banned from driving for six months, fined £150 and ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
