Striker signing the priority for Sunderland this summer

Sunderland fans insist that a striker should be the priority signing this summer.

We revealed this week that the Black Cats have instructed football agents that they are looking to strengthen five key areas.

Boss Sam Allardyce wants to sign a full-back, centre-half, box-to-box midfielder, winger and a striker.

We asked fans which they believed was the most important position to strengthen, with striker coming out on top with 38% of the vote, followed by a full-back (24%).

Allardyce has been linked with moves for West Ham’s Diafra Sakho and Swansea attacker Andre Ayew.
