Supporters, players and officials will all observe a minute's silence at Sunderland's game against Southampton on Saturday.

Remembrance commemorations will be taking place county wide, with more than 2,000 serving military personnel, veterans groups and families of soldiers who have lost their lives in the service of their country attending the stadium for the club's biggest military tribute.

The match will kick off at 3pm, and supporters are being asked to take their seats early to ensure that the silence is observed in the appropriate manner.
