Halloween Disco Come along and join us at St Mary & St Peter’s Community Project, Springwell Road, Sunderland SR3 4DY, on Friday, October 28, from 5pm to 7pm for a spooktacular Hallowe’en disco. Show off your dance moves and join in the fun and games. There is also a chance to show off your scary costume (optional). Tickets cost £2.50 per child and include hotdog and a drink. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are limited.

Exercise sessions run every Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 10am to 10.45am. The sessions will include the use of Easyline machines along with a cardio-based workout. Classes are £2 per person, per session. For more information please contact Sarah.

Do you enjoy gardening and have few hours to spare? We are currently looking for volunteers to help maintain of our community garden. Our volunteers meet every Monday from 9.30am to noon. if you would like to help then please come along on Monday, speak to our volunteers and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, other days and times can be arranged. Please speak to Sarah

Humbledon Methodist Church, Ettrick Grove, have a number of weekly activities. Monday: Brownies at 6.30pm; Tuesday: Weight Watchers from 6pm; Wednesday: OPEN DOOR from 10.30am to 1pm. Coffee and light lunches served; Thursday: Slimming World from 6.30pm; Sunday: Morning worship at 10.45am.

Sunderland Jubilate Singers will present a concert in Humbledon Methodist Church on Saturday, September 24, at 2.30pm, followed by light refreshments. Tickets now available at £5 or pay at the door. Everyone invited.

On Saturday, October 1, a Harvest soup and bun lunch will be held in the Church Hall commencing at 12.30pm. Tickets now available at £5.

On Sunday, October 2, the Church Harvest Festival service will be held at 10.45am conducted by Rev Derek Aldridge. Everone is very welcome to share in the Harvest weekend.
