Live Life Well is a free service for people who live or work in Sunderland who would like support to change their lifestyle.
The service can provide both advice and support to connect you to a range of opportunities across the city. The sessions are for anyone who wants to improve their wellbeing in one or more of the following areas: Stopping smoking, healthy eating, being more active, sexual health, alcohol and emotional health. It can also provide access to NHS Health Checks. For more information, call the Live Life Well Hub on 0800 107 0741. You can also ask your GP or health professional to make a referral for you.
Southwick Forum runs a knit and natter group, based in Austin House, from 1pm-2.30pm on Mondays during term-time. The session is for adults only and is a great way to make new friends.
Southwick Forum Kids’ Club members enjoyed a tour of the Stadium Of Light during the holidays. Thanks go to the tour guides, Josip and Keith.
