Southwick Forum has been busy over the summer holidays organising activities for children.
The children have explored their local community visiting local parks, the rail way museum and Roker beach. The also took part in activities such as cooking, collage, games, messy play, with lovely picnics provided by Anika and Julie. This week the children will enjoy cooking treats for the end of their summer holiday party and will be going on a trip to Scarborough.
The Forum is looking forward to seeing everyone and all the groups which have take a summer break when the schools return.
The Salvation Army has also been busy with trips, activities and fun days over the school summer. Families enjoyed outings too Scarborough, Adventureland and Flamingo Land. The fun days were very well attended with lots of free activities for the children.
Messy church meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month. Why not join in the crafts, games and Bible stories. The activities are suitable for all the family.
