The senior section of Girlguiding.uk celebrated the launch of its centenary year at a spectacular event at Alexandra Palace. The 2nd South Hylton Senior Section girls and Guides had a wonderful day taking part in a vast array of activities along with 7,000 girls from all over the country. The unit is very grateful for the financial support given for this event by Community Chest funding from St Anne’s Ward.
