Six-medal Norman leads the way for City of Sunderland in Yorkshire Open Masters

Three Over-60 City of Sunderland swimmers impressed in the Yorkshire Open Masters as they prepares for the LEN European Masters Championships in London.

Norman Stephenson was in excellent form at the John Charles Pool in Leeds, netting six medals on a memorable day.

He grabbed gold medals in the 50m and 100m breaststroke, 50m and 100m butterfly and the 200m individual medley.

Graeme Shutt claimed gold in the 100m backstroke and 100m medley, and added silvers in the 50m butterfly and 50m backstroke.

Lindy Woodrow managed to secure two silver medals, in the 50m and 200m freestyle.
