Silence from our local MPs
In a recent letter about Labour, under Jeremy Corbyn, abandoning our armed forces, the writer asked our three Labour MPs to let us know their views on our submarines being sent to sea without missiles.
Despite having columns in the Echo, I have not seen any MP offer a comment on this.
What are the opinions on Trident and our deterrent?
The letter also mentioned the Falkland Islands and Jeremy Corbyn’s plans to surrender sovereignty of the Falklands to Argentina, against the islanders’ wishes.
Would our MP wish to comment on this?
