Berbatov, who has just finished a stint in Greece with PAOK, said "age doesn't matter" and he is keen to play for a side in England's top flight again.
"Hopefully I will find a team soon. In football, you can either play or not. It is not about age. Hopefully you will see me on the pitch soon," he told 5Live.
"I would like to come to England. When you’ve played in the Premier League you don’t want to play anywhere else. Hopefully - it would be great for me.
