Sheds destroyed in large allotment blaze
Two large sheds were burned to the ground when a fire broke out earlier today.
Firefighters from Peterlee were called to put out the large allotment blaze in Easington Colliery.
County Durham Fire and Rescue Service said no one was injured in the incident, which happened just after 11.20am.
A crew called in back up from a second team when more water was needed to fight the flames.
