Shame on the pyjama mums
It's quite right that people should complain about mothers doing the school run in pyjamas.
It’s happening all over Sunderland, then they nip into garages for petrol and scratchcards in their dressing gowns.
Just what is the world coming to? Some folk say something serious must have happened for them to leave the house in that state of dress but if you look you see the same mothers every day. Bleary eyed, probably unwashed and with their hair all over the place. They must get out of bed minutes before the school bell.
Can you imagine those who were mothers in the 1950s and 60s doing this? It simply wouldn’t happen. They should be ashamed of themselves.
