Sunderland superfan Sacha was the envy of thousands when she was serenaded with A Million Love Songs by Gary Barlow himself.

Superfan Sasha gets best Gary Barlow selfie ever

Gary played the first of two sold-out nights at Sunderland Empire last night as part of his solo tour of intimate venues, and each night he chooses a lucky person to join him on stage for his famous Take That ballad.

Last night, Sacha was the chosen one and she got to join the star on stage for the duration of the song, sharing his piano stool with him and snapping selfies.

Gary returns to the Empire tonight for another trip down memory lane, playing hits such as Back for Good, Greatest Day, Pray and Never Forget, as well as solo material.

Running times are: Doors open: 18.30. KT Tunstall: 19:15 – 19:50. Interval: 19:50 – 20:15. Gary Barlow: 20:15 – 22:15
