Northumbria Police has sent its thanks after a man last seen in December was found overnight following an appeal.

The force shared the details of Michael Butler, 39, from the Grindon area of Sunderland, after he was reported missing on Tuesday, February 2.
He had last been seen on December 5.
Today, Friday, February 5, the force said Michael, who has links to the Cleveland Police area, was found “fit and well overnight.”
It added: “Thank you for everyone who shared our appeal.”
