A WEARSIDER has hit the jackpot on the first ever Health Lottery draw.
The winner was one of three this weekend scooping the £100,000 top prize after matching all five numbers.
It is believed none of the winners have yet claimed their cash, so those who entered are being urged to check their tickets.
An estimated 10million tuned in to watch Melinda Messenger present the first draw.
Chief executive Martin Hall said: “We will be offering people the opportunity to win a life-changing amount of money while at the same time contributing to tackling real health issues in local communities.
“It is an exciting new launch which will benefit every community in Great Britain.”
