Saw stolen in van raid

TOOLS were taken from a works van as it was parked up on an industrial estate.

The white Ford Transit was on Davey Drive, on Peterlee’s North West Industrial Estate, between 7.30am and 5pm on Thursday, April 26, when the items were taken.

They included a petrol-powered Stihl saw, which was an orange TS410 model, which has a blade with regular holes around its circumference, and a green Makita 18-volt cordless drill with a red battery.

Police are appealing to track down the items and the thieves who took them during broad daylight.
