YOU better watch out, you better not cry if you visit Beamish Museum any weekend before Christmas.
Santa has come to stay and will be in his grotto at Pockerley Waggonway every Saturday and Sunday between now and the big day.
He arrived at the weekend in grand style, taking time out from his Christmas preparations to visit the museum’s Edwardian town in the back of a vintage car.
He was joined by a parade of kings and camels, shepherds, sheep and a donkey, and serenaded by the sounds of Murton Colliery Band and the Beamish Youth Club Choir, before switching on the Christmas lights.
Every weekend there will be seasonal entertainment such as brass bands and carol singers.
