Rump hits the spot to book finals night place

Lee Rump celebrated two Golden Fleece Darts Premier League victories to secure his place at finals night.

Firstly, Rump strolled to a 5-0 win over Colin Seaman.

Rump then edged out Mark Forth 5-3, with best legs of 16, 17, 18 (three), plus a great finish of 114.

Mick McBain will also play in the finals night after a 5-3 win over Charlie Thompson and a draw with Mark Forth.

Kev Long beat Norman Place 5-1, with Long’s best leg coming in 20 darts.

Charlie Thompson beat Andy Clark 5-0, while Denny Cullen defeated Paul Moon 5-2.

Micky Watson played four games won three and drew the other.

Firstly, Watson drew with Micky Seaman, but then racked up three wins over Steve Carr (5-3), Mark Forth (5-2) and Denny Cullen (5-2).

Baz Walker remains on course to seal the title after two 5-1 wins over Steve Carr and Steve Richardson.

Paul Moon eased to a 5-1 victory over Colin Seaman and Richardson beat Marco Laybourn 5-3. Glen Woodbridge had two 5-0 wins over John Doran and Don Green.
