Richardson senior sees off son's challenge

Steve Richardson claimed two fine 5-1 victories in the Golden Fleece Darts League.

Richardson beat his son Gary, and Steve Carr, with winning legs of 18 (twice), 20 and 21, including a great finish of 126.

Glen Woodbridge beat Baz Walker 5-2, with both players’ best legs coming in 20 and 21 darts.

Marco Laybourn played two and won both, seeing off Jack Revely 5-2 and Glen Woodbridge 5-1.

Laybourn’s best legs were 15, 17, 18 (three), 19 (two) and 21, including great finishes of 140 and 180.

Woodbridge’s winning leg came in 18 darts.

Mick Seaman stormed to a 5-0 victory over Andy Clark, sealing two 17-dart legs.

Denny Cullen beat Owen Storey 5-1, enjoying winning legs in 20 and 21 darts.

Pete Wilson came from 4-2 down to earn a draw against Steve Carr.

Wilson enjoyed two 20-dart winning legs.

Micky McBain beat Colin Seaman 5-0 and John Doran defeated Micky Watson 5-0.

Elsewhere, Pete Wilson ran out a big 5-0 winner over Don Green.

Last game of the night saw Jack Revely beat Mick Seaman 5-2.
