With Jan Kirchhoff, Jack Rodwell and Steven Pienaar set to miss the game as they battle back from injury and Paddy McNair, Duncan Watmore and Lee Cattermole still out, Moyes' midfield options are limited.

But he could bring one of Khazri, Honeyman or Gooch back into the side if he wanted to freshen things up for the visit of Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.

Khazri has been out of favour for the majority of this campaign, with the winger making only 13 Premier League appearances - nine of which have been from the subs bench.

The 26-year-old played an important role in last season's survival but has been a bit-part player under David Moyes.
