Maja made a blistering start to the season scoring in each of Sunderland's first four league games. In total, the teenager has been involved in 12 of the Black Cats' 33 goals (10 goals and two assists) in League One this campaign (36.4 per cent). His goals have come at crucial times too, with four coming when Sunderland were 1-0 down. Maja has also opened the scoring on three occasions this season - against Rochdale, Peterborough and Bradford.

The 19-year-old forward has scored ten goals for the Black Cats in the league this campaign, while also contributing with two assists. We've compared Maja's Sunderland stats with the Black Cats' League One rivals and their top scorers - here's what we found.

The league leaders have spread the goals around this season but Curtis has still been involved in 42.9 per cent of them. Curtis, 22, has scored six times in the league, the same amount as team-mate Jamal Lowe, while chipping in with six assists. Garth Evans has also scored five times for Pompey in League One, with Kenny Jackett's side netting 28 goals in total.
The towering frontman, 26, has scored nine times in the league this campaign, as well as contributing with two assists. Overall he has been involved in 35.5 per cent of the Tykes' 31 league goals, helping them climb to third in the table. Brad Potts is Barnsley's second highest scorer in the league with five goals.

Peterborough have also shared the goals around this campaign, but Godden has still been pivotal to their impressive start. The 27-year-old has scored nine times in the league this season and provided two assists for his team-mates. Overall, Godden has played a part in 32.4 per cent of Posh's 34 league goals this term.
Following their promotion from League Two, Luton's form may have surprised a few this season. None of their players feature at the very top of the League One scoring charts, with Collins their highest scorer with seven league goals. The 27-year-old has also registered two assists this campaign, but has only been involved in 28.1 per cent of Luton's 32 league goals.
Charlton have been reliant on their impressive forward duo of Taylor and Karlan Grant this season. Taylor is the Addicks' top scorer in League One with nine goals and four assists, meaning the striker has been involved in a whopping 50 per cent of Charlton's 28 league goals. Grant's stats are also impressive with eight league goals and two assists this term. It means only 18.9 per cent of Charlton's goals haven't involved one of their front two.
