IT’S raining cats and dogs in our Animal Crackers competition.

The latest selection of festive pets includes cat Baby Daisy, playing in the tree decorations, sent in by from Kelly McCulloch, of Sunderland’s East End.

Next up is Molly the dog, dressed as Santa, sent in by four-year-old Daniel King and his mam Katy Taylor, of Town End Farm.

John Taggart, 46, and granddaughter Destinea, nine, from Nookside, sent in a photo of Toffee Pudding, a two-year-old Chinese crested with a brown nose who eats chicken all year but cannot wait for his Christmas turkey and pudding.

Jacqui Gallagher, of Torquay Road, Thorney Close, emailed a picture of her Chihuahua Chico, who loves getting dressed up as Santa.

Feeling festive and wearing antlers is Daisy, a 13-month-old West Highland Terrier, sent in by her owner Jane Dunn, 28, from East Boldon.
