Little ones at a Sunderland school stepped out to raise money for charity.
The children from the nursery, reception and Years 1 and 2 at Sunderland High School put their best feet forward to take part in a charity walk to raise money for children’s charity, Barnardo’s.
The children, joined by staff and parents, walked all around the park, stopping off at the cannon, then down to the bandstand for photo opportunities and for the children to have a run about.
Everyone in the group then continued their walk past the duck pond and on to the play area where they all enjoyed a well deserved drink and a biscuit.
A member of staff said all the children thoroughly enjoyed their morning out.
