Punters are predicting an England win on penalties in tonight's World Cup semi-final.
Gareth Southgate's Three Lions take on Croatia in Moscow in the tie, which has a 7pm kick-off.
And it seems that those looking to place a bet seem to think that England will win the game on penalties.
England last reached the semi-final stages of the World Cup at Italia 90, where they lost, on penalties, to eventual tournament winners Germany.
France beat Belgium in the other semi-final tie last night to book their place in Sunday's showpiece final.
Katie Baylis, spokeswoman for bookmaker Betfair , said: “It’s been 28 years since an England team woke up knowing they were in a semi-final of a World Cup and, while there was heartbreak in Turin that night, punters are confident the penalties hoodoo is well and truly over.
"Our most popular bet on how tonight’s game will be decided is England to go through to the final on penalties (odds of 10/1 on Betfair).
“The ‘Harry’ double act is also being backed heavily on the goal scorer markets with Maguire most backed to score first (25/1) and Kane to score at any time (10/3).
“If the match is decided in 90 minutes then punters are confident England will be the ones still standing and predict a 2-1 victory (9/1), but let’s face it, the team and the nation won’t care how they get through as long as they do.
“While no one wants to get ahead of themselves yet and jinx anything, confidence that football could well be coming home is sky high with 65% of bets on the result market on England to beat Croatia, for the chance to make history against France on Sunday."
