Products on shelves are not testers

It really annoys me when I see women and girls (and very occasionally men) spraying antiperspirants, air fresheners, etc in stores.

I even once saw a woman open a jar of face cream and put in on her face before putting it back on the shelf.

Unless the store has the words ‘tester’ on the product, like Boots and Body Shop do, they are not testers.

These people are stealing from the people who go on to buy the product they have tested.

By the time you tell a member of staff, the damage has been done.

Some staff say something to the culprits but others don’t bother.

I think that all stores, especially Wilkinsons, Bodycare, Savers, Home Bargains and Poundland, should have notices on the shelves saying that these products are not testers and not to open them.

I have even seen a number of staff at one of these stores spraying a product straight from the shelf.

This has gone on for years but it is time that something was finally done about it.
