Privilege to attend event

We saw a wonderful show and thank everyone who took part and gave us more great memories of the good folk in our city

All my uncles and cousins worked at Doxford and I well remember all the launchings.

May I thank all who gave Len, my brother, such applause.

I remember when those boys came home, the great welcome they received from the good folk of Sunderland.

May I also thank those who attend the cenotaph each year where he has spoken for many years.

I am proud to be a Mackem. We have got lots of good people in our city.
