FASHION models will be strutting down the catwalk and showing off their style for charity tonight.

One of the city’s biggest stores, Primark, has agreed to kit out the catwalk stars for the show at the city’s Roker Hotel.

Members of the Rotary Club of Wearside with Seaham are hosting the event, which starts at 6.30pm.

Money raised will be split between four charities – Newcastle Hospitals’ Children’s Heart Unit Fund, the Royal Society for the Blind’s Sunderland branch, Seaham Community Centre and Sunderland RNLI.

Models of all ages will be on the catwalk from 8pm, and there will also be stalls full of Christmas goodies to browse and buy.

Club president Fiona Swan said: “We’re looking forward to teaming up with Primark to hopefully raise a lot of money for four very good causes.

“The Rotary Club would like to thank Primark for supplying clothes for the show and all the models and their families.

“We’ve sold a lot of tickets already, and it looks like it’s going to be a really good night.”
