Volunteers supporting the Royal British Legion’s (RBL) Poppy Appeal will have a dedicated spot at Dalton Park from next week.

It will mean wellwishers will be able to make a donation or buy a poppy by visiting the charity’s pitch next to the Radley store.

Dalton Park’s centre manager Jerry Hatch said: “It’s wonderful to have local volunteers from The Royal British Legion back at the centre.

People might not be aware that you can buy a poppy this year.

“We’re delighted we can support the charity and raise awareness that the Poppy Appeal is still taking place.

“Feedback from customers has been lovely and it’s great to be able to uphold some of our centre’s traditions.”
