Online pharmacy business planned for Sunderland dance studio building

Earlier this year, a planning application was lodged with Sunderland City Council for a business unit in the Grangetown area.

This included setting up a new ‘online pharmacy and delivery prescription service’ at 84 Ryhope Road.

According to the application, the venture would create up to three full-time jobs at the vacant unit.

It would also offer a dispensing bench, storage area, customer waiting area and an office – with all pharmacy waste bins kept inside the premises.

In addition, proposed opening hours for the dispensary include 9am-1pm and 2pm-6pm, Monday to Friday.

A final decision on the application is expected by early January 2021.
