Police release CCTV footage of missing Sunderland man Carl Rowe

POLICE searching for missing man Carl Rowe have released CCTV footage of him from before he was reported missing.

The CCTV footage shows him withdrawing cash at Newcastle Road in Sunderland on Monday morning, March 31.

Mr Rowe, 42, of Eglington Street North in Roker, was last seen by family members around 6.45pm on Sunday night, March 30. He was reported missing by relatives on Monday afternoon, March 31.

CCTV footage shows that he was seen on Monday morning withdrawing cash. And since then, on Tuesday afternoon, April 2, police received a report of a possible sighting of him in North Berwick, in East Lothian, Scotland. It’s also believed he has been sighted in Berwick in Northumberland.

When spotted in North Berwick he was wearing navy coloured Adidas tracksuit bottoms with three stripes down the legs, and a navy waterproof jacket with a distinctive bright blue colour in the inner hood.

Mr Rowe is described as white, 5ft 10ins tall, with short dark brown hair, spiked up, and wearing glasses.

Police are concerned for Mr Rowe’s welfare and are appealing for the public’s help to trace him.

He lives alone at his Roker home and anyone who has seen him since Monday morning is asked to get in touch with police as soon as possible.
