Police launch hunt to trace wanted Sunderland man

Police have launched an appeal for information to track down a man wanted on recall to prison.

Police are appealing for the public help to track down James McGuigan.

James McGuigan, 28, whose last known address was Pennywell Bail Hostel in Sunderland, is wanted for breaching the terms of his licence and has been recalled to prison.

Officers are carrying out inquiries to locate him and appealing for the public's help.

McGuigan is not thought to pose a risk to members of the public however anyone who does see him should not approach him but contact police immediately.

Anyone who does have information about his whereabouts should ring Northumbria Police on 101.
