Cleveland Police have appealed to members of the public on social media for help in finding a missing 22-year-old woman.

Officers are urgently trying to track down missing Nadiyah Baksh who was last seen at around 1pm on Wednesday, November 25 in the Thornaby area.

Police searching for the missing 22-year-old say that she possibly could have travelled to the Durham area.

Nadiyah is reportedly driving a black Ford Fiesta, with the registration plate ending in YAX.

A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: “Officers are urgently appealing to trace missing Nadiyah Baksh. aged 22, who was last seen this afternoon, (Wednesday, November 25) at around 1pm in Thornaby.

“It is believed Nadiyah could have travelled to the Durham area. She is driving a black Ford Fiesta with the registration plate ending YAX.”

Anyone who may have seen her or the vehicle are asked to contact Cleveland Police by calling 101 and quoting 193095.
