It may have been a grey and dreary day, but that didn't stop us having some bank holiday fun!
Thousands of children took part in the annual Penshaw Bowl egg rolling competition, held at Herrington Country Park yesterday.
It was a sight to behold as the decorated eggs went the journey down the hill, cheered on by children and parents alike.
