Picture special: Fans celebrate at Sunderland Fan Zone as England go through to World Cup semi-finals

The sun was shining, the music was playing at Sunniside Live and England hit the back of the net with two fantastic goals.

The Three Lions scored their place in the World Cup semi-finals with the 2-0 win against Sweden - and there were fantastic performances from Harry Maguire, Dele Alli and pride of Sunderland Jordans Henderson and Pickford.

The fans packed out in the city’s two fan zones certainly were enjoying the action, and we were there to capture it all on camera.
