A photo studio has swept the board at an awards ceremony which recognises the cream of photographers.
David Armour, 44, and Paul Maddison, 43, from Sunderland's Focal Point Photography walked away with an unparalleled 11 awards for portraiture and wedding photography at the prestigious Master Photographers' Association Awards.
David, who collected seven awards – including the coveted top prize of North East Master Photographer of the Year for his creative portrait shot – became the only photographer in the region to have won this title twice.
The pair, who have been business partners for 12 years, were also named as overall portrait and wedding photographers of the year.
Their winning images have gained automatic nomination for the Master Photographers Association national awards to be held in October where they will compete with photographers from all over the UK.
David said: "We are glad our work has gained this high profile recognition."
