On Saturday, Phili blew Easington away to record a storming 10-wicket Division One victory.

Amarjeet Singh was almost unplayable as he plundered seven wickets for just nine runs in 10.4 overs as Easington were skittled for 54 in 20.4 overs, backed by Stevie Wright (3-45). Sujit Nayak top-scored with 22.

Shaun Hauxwell hit an unbeaten 31, with six fours and a six, while Shaun Smith made 23 not out as Phili cruised home in 8.5 overs.

Yesterday, Phili topped that with a fantastic triumph against Great Ayton, who managed a daunting 164-5 in the Hedworth Williamson Trophy final at Whitburn.

Phili, though, rose to the challenge to win by three wickets in a dramatic finale.

Earlier, Phili beat Ushaw Moor in their semi-final, with Ayton defeating Hetton Lyons.
