Washington Live is a joint effort from local band The Scandals and Washington AFC, which debuted for the first time last year, creating a family friendly festival with local music and community spirit.
After receiving an overwhelmingly positive response to the event last year, organisers were keen to make this year's event even better, but ultimately plans were scuppered by the coronavirus pandemic.
In a statement, the organising team said: “The safety of everyone involved with Washington Live was always our main concern. It’s a huge disappointment after all the work we’ve put into it but the safety of all who would attend has to come first.
