It may only be February but if you’re already thinking of a special way to spend Christmas in 2020, there are nine European Christmas Market destinations Jet2 is set to fly to from Newcastle Airport.
We’ve taken a look at the nine destinations the low-cost airline will be flying to in late November and December and how much a trip to one of these winter wonderlands will cost.
5. Nuremberg, Germany
The world-famous Christmas market is filled with colourful illuminated decoration and food stalls. There is one two-night trip to Cologne from Newcastle Airport flying out on Friday, December 11 and Sunday, December 13. Prices start at £269 per person.

6. Prague, Czech Republic
Head to the capital of the Czech Republic to explore the festive markets and dig in to a delicious Trdelnik (a type of spit cake). There are regular flights and breaks in the run up to December 25. Prices for breaks start at £258.

7. Cologne, Germany
Stroll around the winter wonderland in German city Cologne. There is one two-night break available from Newcastle Airport with Jet2 flying out on Friday, December 11 and Sunday, December 13. Prices start at £271.
8. Copenhagen, Denmark
Explore Tivoli, visit the Little Mermaid and indulge in the treats available at the Christmas Market stalls. There is one two-night break available from Friday, November 27 to Sunday, November 29. Prices start at £338 per person.
