Beau Isabella Steabler, from Farringdon, appeared on a billboard in the Big Apple as part of a worldwide campaign for Angel’s Face spring and summer collection for 2020.

Beau’s mother, Rebecca Martin, spoke of her pride to the Echo and praised her daughter’s love for what she does.

She said: “[Beau] has no idea how amazing she is, she makes me burst with pride

“She’s had lots of really big achievements for a little girl, we are so blessed.”

The popular girlswear brand was created by designer Keely Deininger, who has more than 400 boutiques in more than 40 countries.

The photoshoot for the collection took place in Kent.

Her mum continued: “The photoshoot was at this big house in Kent near London, it was so beautiful, I mean it was huge like a mansion.

“The shoot was like this ‘at grandma’s, in the greenhouse’ kind of thing.”

Beau has been modelling for three years and was first pictured by Sunderland photographer, Lisa McCormick.

Rebecca had some professional pictures taken of her daughter when she was younger and then booked additional sessions with Lisa after her second child was born, to get some pictures of her two children together.

On set, Lisa also took some individual shots of Beau who was a “natural in front of the camera”. Beau’s modelling career was then launched.

Rebecca said: “She absolutely loves it, she wouldn’t be doing it if she didn’t – I’m not one of those types of parents.

“She loves travelling and meeting new people, she has friends down in London that we go a visit every now and then.

“She loves what she is doing but I don’t really push it, it’s all about her enjoying herself, so when the fun stops, so will she.”

These days, modelling is considered a tough career, especially with the amount of criticism the industry can receive.

“It’s not something I think of – I think she loves herself to be honest and I always say she is beautiful,” Rebecca continued.

“She is different from everybody else, because she is so unique with her bright red hair.”

However, like all mothers do, Rebecca still worries about the future and has educated her daughter on the dangers of online bullying.

She told the Echo that nobody has made any negative comments towards Beau yet, but has prepared her daughter for what she may have to face in the future

Rebecca takes pride in the fact that Beau, like herself, is a positive person and has the ability to “brush off” negativity.

She added: “I tell her, just because they’re nice to you now that doesn’t mean they’re not going to call you names or be mean to you later.”
