Sunderland man's family traced by coroner's team thanks to Echo readers

Relatives of a pensioner who died in his Sunderland home have been traced thanks to an appeal shared by Echo readers.

Sunderland’s coroner’s officer Jessica Lee was inundated with calls and emails after asking for help to find the family of John Warren, 85, who died at his home in Dent Street in Roker on Thursday, July 9.

An inquest into Mr Warren’s death will take place held tomorrow, Tuesday, July 21, at 10.30am, at Sunderland Civic Centre.
