Sunderland man Mark Herron was remembered by those who knew and loved him at a funeral service in the city.

The service took place at Sunderland Crematorium on Wednesday, March 18 with floral tributes and heartfelt cards left outside in his honour. Mark, who was 53 and of New Silksworth, was confirmed dead by Northumbria Police in February following a fire at Tunstall Village Green.
