Hide AdOne neighbour, who did not want to be named, said: “I was lying on my bed at about 10.30pm. Next thing I knew I heard a bang and a smash.
"I looked out but it was pitch black, but I could see brake lights sticking out of the house. The car was in the property. It had gone in at an angle and the back of the car was facing down the street.
"It must have gone up the street, then taken a sharp left into the property. The car must have pulled off. I didn’t see that because I’d come back into the house, but I saw its lights when it turned right, out of the street, and I heard it screeching down the back alleyway.
"I couldn’t see what sort of car it was. It was dark and there were other cars in the way. It just happened so quick."
